Picking up where I left off yesterday:
34. Learn my way around the lake.
35. Learn to drive the boat.
36. Spend two weeks in Sedona, Arizona.
37. Grow my nails long all by myself (that means stop PICKING at them).
38. Experience unmedicated childbirth, and nursing, one more time.
39. Make a souffle.
40. Have a girls only spa retreat weekend.
41. Shake the hand of a great president (I'm soooo looking forward to '08...).
42. Have a will drawn up.
43. Attend my 20th class reunion looking H.O.T. (2014!)
44. Age gracefully.
45. Learn to make my own jewelry.
46. Watch a sunrise. Um, I think I did that a time or two in college, but I'd like to try it again in a "better state of mind", shall we say.
47. Walk really gracefully in super high heels.
48. Visit Japan.
49. Plant and tend a successful vegetable garden.
50. Have a strawberry patch in my yard.
51. Purchase a new sofa / loveseat / chair. We've never bought our own, brand new furniture. But K, if you're reading this, I'm never giving up that downstairs sofa. Mmmmm. Heaven.
52. Get laser eye surgery (I have 20/400 vision. I can't see the big "E", people.)
53. Visit the amusement park in Cedar Park, Ohio and ride every roller coaster.
54. Read the entire Bible.
55. Volunteer for those less fortunate.
56. Play on a softball team. Well, after I learn to quit ducking when I see a ball coming, that is.
57. Go to New York City at Christmas time.
58. Volunteer for a local or national Democratic election campaign that I'm passionate about.
59. Be a "room mother" when my kids are in school.
60. Visit all the Laura Ingalls Wilder home sites in the United States.
61. Publish a children's book.
62. Break my sugar addiction.
63. Ride on a motorcycle.
64. Buy my mother a really extravagant gift.
65. Put my family member's oral histories down on paper. You know, all those family legends and stories that get told at Thanksgiving.
66. Volunteer at the hospital as a "baby rocker" for the preemie / ICU babies.
67. Buy a brand spanking new car.
68. Get one more tattoo.
69. Get a super short haircut (I've never gone much above shoulder length).
70. Jump in a big pile of leaves (I did that as a child, but have a craving to try it as an adult.)
#71 - #101 coming up next!

I would like to do #41 or at least have a great president. I should be doing #42 soon. Look at my picture. Too late for #44. I love sunrises and sunsets. I have done #54, but now I learning to look at the Bible in a different way. Don't worry you will get to do #59; as you know volunteers are always appreciated at school.
You have made a great list; I look forward to the rest.
I love your list so far Stacey!!! I would LOVE to go to all the same places and live in the secluded farm house in the trees. (And, maybe I will) Awesome. And, as I've always told you, you can do anything you WANT to do, so start checking some of that stuff off. I love you, MOM
I will tell you the secret of how I came to grow my nails long: I got fake nails from the salon. I wore them for an entire summer, and by the time I took them off, my urge to bite them had disappeared. Try it! I highly recommend it.
Unmedicated childbirth? Why? Why not a c-section? I would love to help you cross of #40! Know any good spots? As far as #41 goes...A and I went to see Bush in Springfield on Friday! Yes it was amazing! The lady that gave us the tickets said that she could give us a couple of tickets for the inaguration(sp?). Is there a big E on the eye chart? When your kids get a little older (yes they will get older!) take them with you to volunteer and cross one off the list. Do you have a tatoo picked out? Kid ready to interrupt...must go!
Your lists are really wonderful. You've got so many great thoughts!! (In fact, I may print your list and hang it on my wall, scratching out Stacey and scribbling in my own name.) (Oh, and I'd have to scratch out that whole childbirth thing too, haha.)
The Christmas in New York idea is wonderful. The Mag Mile in Chicago is awesome at Christmas. I bet NYC would be stellar.
Also, number nineteen....what a toughie! You can do it!
You have watched a sunrise. It was a blast. We need to do that again real soon, in the same state of mind!
Do you mean Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH? Dude, the best freakin' place on earth is what that is! Hubby and I went there back in 2003 and those were some amazingly fun roller coasers.
Hey....ROAD TRIP! Even if we have to do it when our kids are grown and we have to get our doctors to approve it first (b/c of heart conditions), we'll do it.

Christmas in NYC is amazing! We have been the past few years. Actually, last year, we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas there. (husband works for airline + direct flight to NYC in 45 minutes = many weekend trips for the husband and myself) One time, we tried to fly home for Christmas, but got stuck in Charlotte. We tried to just fly back here, but couldn't get here either because flights were booked. So, the next best thing was New York. It was really cool! They have a Yule Log channel Christmas Eve and Christmas, where they just air a fireplace burning on one of the tv channels. It's so comforting and cool! We've also been there on Thanksgiving for the Macy's parade. It was awesome! (yet another failed attempt to get anywhere on a holiday! Since we're standby passengers and it takes a couple of connections to get to MO, we always have a better chance of getting on direct flights)
