Boring but necessary
Ok. I'm a trusting soul. So I open up comments. (Thanks, everybody! And now my husband really can't get me off the computer!) And now I get "COMMENT SPAM". Who knew?

These anonymous comments are all vaguely flattering - 'great site', 'beautiful layout', 'I bookmarked you', 'keep up the great work, love your blog', and I'm all "Husband! Look at all these comments! I am an overnight SENSATION. OMG, maybe I'll be featured on the Today show! I will make money and hire a NANNY." And then I realized what they were. Oops. And now I've got to go through and delete all that $#!*, when I could be blog surfing the night away.

So now, and you probably don't care, but I obviously like to over-share, when you leave a comment, you will have to type in a word that it shows you on the screen. Then it will be emailed to me so I can approve or deny it. I have power now and I am ready, ready, ready to USE IT. And I really love CAPS LOCK WAY MORE THAN I SHOULD. HAVE YOU NOTICED?

I hate that spam crud...like getting a telemarketer call on your cell phone. "oh yes, please waste my minutes to tell me how I can save money on my car insurance".

Oh well...but you are funny enough that people want to comment, so it won't be a problem.... (And I obviously like the "..." too much!

In this situation, the CAPS are totally justified - totally.

Glad you got it sorted out, though :D

Lucy - hahaha! I am just writing and writing...and getting fatter! I do the same thing - I love to read other blogs, the comments, then follow the links. And I agree wholeheartedly...it makes me feel so normal to read other blogs and have people agree with mine too!

You go girl! POWER to us bloggers! I also just mentioned in my blog about refusing to click advertisements. I *REFUSE*. Oh yeah, and I'm all those eaters too - but especially the refuser one. LOL And if you do happen to be 478 pounds in two years, you'll at least have company...I'm on the same diet plan as you are! :)

And...no spam comments here...I really do laugh my rear off at your blog! :) Keep up my daily addiction, will ya? :) (And you can tell your husband that too! LOL)
