the PICTURE!

Yes, this is it. The now-totally-out-of context picture I wanted to post along with my "Advice" post. No it is not exciting, but OMG, my newly waxed (!) eyebrows just SHOT UP with surprise when I realized the picture ACTUALLY POSTED.

And though quite a dull picture, and by far not the best shot ever taken of me, it is ever so full of meaning.

This was taken on my last day as an employee of my former school. No kids that week, just me boxing up and cleaning up my room.

Me, behind that gorgeous, gigantic, wooden teacher desk that no longer belongs to me. *sniff*

The pin I am wearing says "Employee of the Month". I broke it out on special occasions just to get a reaction from my superintendent, whose children were both students of mine.

And, AND...see the three sheets of paper in front of me? Yes, they are LISTS! (I told you, I love my lists).

Me, thrilled at the prospect of no more pencils, no more books, and ready to go HOME to give MY children dirty looks!
