Okay, you get the idea. I am still feeling miserable. Too miserable even for good blogging. So miserable, in fact, that I'll probably go back to the doctor tomorrow to make sure that I am not in the throes of death. Because I am over-dramatic like that.
Anyway, in lieu of having to actually think, and proofread, and write, I thought, "Hey! I'll just add pictures to G's fourth birthday post from last month! Everybody likes pictures!"
Yes. Well. That was a lovely idea, but there's that little issue of, you know, Blogger is an ASS. So it will not let me insert the photos into the actual birthday post. But it WILL let me put the pictures in a NEW post. So here are the photos, totally out of context. But I will caption for you.

June 2002 - six months pregnant and headed to the lake (where pregnant women can enjoy the bliss of being weightless)

August 2002 - almost 8 months pregnant. Hubby and I had professional belly shots done, and to this day, this is my favorite photo of us together. We look peaceful and loving because we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.

Um, some excessive swelling. Painful swelling. I could not even bend my toes. I kept slippers at school because they were the only shoes that fit.

This is Garrett (Yes! I said his name!) at one month of age. Before he was born, I bought two matching Gymboree outfits, one for a boy and one for a girl. I never returned the girl outfit, and nineteen months later I got to put it on my baby girl, Laura (I know! Another name!)

Mommy, 26 years old, and G, 5 months old.

Daddy, age 28, and G, age 20 months.
You can go back to my September archives to the post titled "Four." if you are so inclined. That's where these pics should have gone!

The proof is reassuring, but I won't believe it can happen to me until I see it ;)
I love the shot of you and the hubs - seriously a wonderful, loving picture.
I am sitting here folding clean baby clothes in an effort to be ready if/when Zoe does show up, and I'm deciding and re-deciding waht to take to the hospital. I never realized that the "home from the hospital" outfit would be such a big deal!
I love the pregnancy photos! One day, I'll have some to share. Until then, I'll be happy that I don't have them yet and I'll visit Disneyworld with my husband because once we have children, we won't be able to afford it. HEE HEE! We'll take lots of pictures, though, so we can at least share them with our kids!
Your kids have great names. Thanks for sharing them with us!
awwww... i love those photos!
why is it so thrilling to learn real names on blogs? the world may never know :)
Yeah! Wahoo! Hooray! Names! The other day in Target I saw these little note pads with initials on the front, and right on top were G and L and I immediately thought of your kids, and wondered what the heck they stood for.
Your pregnancy picture is wonderful, and your feet, gah that does look painful!
Off to see more pics!
(If you go into blogger and change the date at the bottom of the entry it will post up at the top like a new entry.)
That picture of you and your husband is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It was so beautiful, it made me wanna cry. Love the gymboree outfit too!
I read your blog every day....I think your post today was awesome. I LOVE the belly pic of you and your hubby. It IS nice to know real names....makes your blog more personal I guess.
Hope you are feeling better soon. I truly don't think you are going to die..you may feel like it though!!%
Ooohh, I love the pregnant photos too. You are so pretty, and your husband is easy on the eyes. So much love...ahh
I hope you feel better soon. Take care.
Time to go check on Mrs. S.
That belly shot IS soooo good. The one of you and the hubby. You do look loving and peaceful.
Your poor, poor feet! Bless your heart. That is some painful swelling right there. I can tell.
