Back in the saddle again
I had a great time at the scrapbooking crop Friday night! For the last several months I've been purchasing and hoarding scrapbooking SUPPLIES, but have not actually created many pages. However, Friday night kicked off a nice, long weekend of scrapping for me!

Back when I was working, scrapbooking provided a fun, relaxing, creative outlet for me to record special moments with my children.

Now that I am with them all day, every day, I'm so worn out from dishes, laundry, breaking up fights, listening to PBS kids, arguing with a four year old (note to self: STOP THAT), mending boo-boos, and being the resident chef and bus-girl, that by the end of the day, the last thing I'm feeling like doing is recording on paper my overwhelming and neverending love for my children. All I feel is "OVERWHELMING" and "NEVERENDING".

So the fact that I'm scrapping again says a lot about the state of my mental health and well being. It might even say that I'm adjusting to being a stay at home mom.

*I really apologize for the picture quality. I'm about as good with cameras as I am with computers. And I don't think I can scan 12x12 pages on our scanner.

My granny is making a pink poodle skirt for Laura. I'll put a picture of her in the skirt on this page:

Well, I was going to post pictures of some of my pages I have done recently, but not after looking at yours! Good grief, you could do people's books for a living. My look completely ghetto compared to these, great job.

Love your pages, my favourite is your mum and daughter. If my baby ever lets me put her down again, I may get a few pages done and posted. I too am a hoarder, at least $100 month. Yikes.

Hoooooly moses! You are so creative!! Wonderful pages.

Somewhat unrelated, but since you mentioned it briefly, are you finding age four to be nightmare-ish? Like, sassy mouth, back talk, screaming, pushing the limits like never before? I had heard that age four is similar to age two, and we are so living it. Just curious to see if you're having the same experience...

I've never scrapbooked, but have friends that do like crazy mad women! I've thought about doing it myself, but the time....where do I find the time?

You're pages are wonderful. Such detail and grace. I love them. And I agree, you could do this for living. Very creative!!! Great job, don't stop.
