C.H.O.C.O.L.A.T.E. Is that clear enough for you?
While all of you bloggers out there have already posted your adorable Halloween pictures and Trick or Treat stories, mine will be fashionably late. Which, if you know me at all, me being late should not come as any big surprise.

But this time, it is NOT my fault. I couldn't post last night, as I was in a Halloween induced sugar coma. And I haven't been able to put up pics today because Blogger hates me.

So, just to give you SOMETHING for taking the time to stop by my site today, here is a recipe. Because I have got chocolate on the brain.

Stacey's Famously Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

1 batch of homemade cookie dough (OR 1 large roll of refrigerated cookie dough)
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 egg
capful of vanilla
1/2 cup sugar

Press half the cookie dough into the bottom of of a pan. I used an 11x7 pan, which happened to be the size on the top of the stack, so I grabbed it first. Beat up the cream cheese, egg, vanilla, and sugar until smooth. Pour this mixture on top of the cookie dough. Drop remaining dough randomly on top of the cream cheese layer. Eat any leftover raw dough if you wish. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Cool. Eat. Eat. And eat.

Your mouth will thank me. Your ass will not.

Sugar sugar sugar...I have no OD'ed on sugar! I totally stole candy out of Silly Girl's bag and brought it to work with me today. She'll never know. Plus, she has too much of it anyway so really, I'm doing her a favor.
I haven't posted pics either. Hopefully tomorrow. I'm always late too. It's just me.

That sounds wonderful! No, we were slackers this year and didn't take our kids out. A (2yr) hates people (can you blame her?) and K (3 mo) is a pain to lug around in his carrier, although both would have been very cute! Maybe next year I'll have the courage to face getting in and out of car seats fifty times in one night.

Oooooooh, that sounds waaaaaaaay too good, and, because I'm a glutton, I'm gonna try it!! I can never get enough chocolate, especially chocolate chip cookies!
