1. I had a slight scare this week. I was two days "late" and freaking out. Four (negative!) tests later, ALL IS WELL. However, I think I realized for sure that I DO want another baby eventually. But not now.
2. Garrett has unrolled yet ANOTHER roll of toilet paper (that brings the total to 7). I charged him $3 from his piggy bank for the wastefulness, which, combined with change from my car, is just enough money for a Starbucks.
3. I get to go to a scrapbooking crop night tonight. Wheeeeee! And if Blogger will allow it, I'll post pics of my completed projects.
4. I like to microwave my ice cream for 15 seconds so that it is nice and soft. Is that odd?
5. I think I'm going to start substitute teaching one or two days a week after Christmas. I miss teaching, especially around this time of year. This is always the perfect time of year at school - holiday activities, first of the year chaos is over, and you're nearing Christmas vacation. And for Kindergarten teachers like myself, the kids have finally learned to sit still, raise their hand, write their names, and possibly read a few words.
6. It's good to be a Democrat right now.
7. Fat Friday update: Still fat.
8. My step-dad took Garrett to a movie last night, AND it was 80 degrees here in southwest Missouri. Which left me with some much needed alone time with my daughter:

Everybody have a great weekend!

I can't imagine shorts in November. We are weg winter coats and boots and have a foot of snow. Trade? Anyone?
She has got THE GREATEST hair. Seriously.
I don't know if the ice cream thing is weird or not... certainly no weirder than stirring it in the bowl until it becomes soft and gooey, which used to be my favorite trick. I mean, come on, it's ice cream... you can't really screw it up, can you?
Stacey,
The husband and I also semi-melt our ice cream before eating it! You're not strange at all!
Yeah, high today? 80. In November. I know I live in the South but that is NOT right. High tomorrow? 50. Bring on the sickness.
She's so cute!
Cute pictures of your daughter, it's precious that you were able to spend alone time with her at the playground....in November.
I do the microwave thing with the ice cream from time to time myself, totally normal!
Have a great weekend too!
Hey Stacey, glad things are getting better for you except for the toilet paper thing, lol. I don't know what to tell you on that one. I've had problems with the cat doing that, but not the kids. It's so fun when you get to spend time with just one kid, it's like they act totally different when they don't have someone else to compete with. By the way, I always let my icecream sit out for a bit on the counter before I eat it.
Until you mentioned the ice cream thing, I did think it was odd - Kevin was the only one I knew who did that.
Ok, it's still odd. You are both odd to me.
So is the spammer above me.
;0)
:) CUTE PICS! :)
Looks like you got the same comment spam that I did. I had to turn on comment moderation to get it to stop.
I love those pictures! And on the ice cream in the micro thing- I don't do it, but it's not weird because my friend's mom does it too!
Cute pics, days with daughters are good times...
I am very jealous of your crop and would love to see pics.
Damn! $3.00! Toliet paper must be expensive in Missouri, lmao! I warm my ice cream too, it's better soft!
