Please witness "Flipper the Fish", Betta fish, age 5 months:
Did Flipper REALLY "splash out of the bowl all by himself", as Garrett maintains, or did he have some help?
Review the evidence before making your decision:
*NOTE* No actual fish were harmed for this blog post. Flipper has been removed from the kitchen carpet and is now recuperating in his tank.

While the evidence is certainly damaging against the suspect, I have one of those crazy fishes, too. EVERY time I change the water in his tank, the little freak tries to commit suicide. He's hit the counter and flopped onto the floor twice, flopped into the sink and been sucked into the drain twice and jumped from the tank/bowl thing to the counter.
But, given the chair and the spoon, I say the suspect is guilty as charged :)
This is a tough one! Were there any witnesses? Have you already interviewed Flipper? What is the suspect's alibi?
I just don't know. Sometimes the evidence just has to speak for itself. I think a jury would convict!
It's a flying fish! BAhhahahah. Garrett didn't do it mom. I think you need to call Laura in as a witness! Maybe Seth snuck up from his dungeon and did it in secret, just to freak you out.
lol.... I must say... the evidence is overwhelming.
My Aunt decided to take her pet fishes for a walk once. My Grandma found them in her coat pocket. Needless to say, the outcome wasnt so good for her fish. :(
Go easy on Garrett, although this isnt his first offense, he is a minor.
lol.
ps. this is Lucy.. blogger is an a-hole.
Wow, lots of disasters lately. What does Laura have to say about the incident? At least Flipper is still alive and well.
This is clearly a fish with a plan. Garrett is innocent I tell you.
I think Garrett was FRAMED! I with some of the other girls, I think the fish clearly had a plan. You better watch Flipper, I think he is plotting to take over the world!
I will need Grissom to help solve this case.
the first time I read/looked at this post I thought "Damn...those little fuckers jump outta there all the time." And then I looked again and noticed the chair and the spoon.
And proceeded to laugh my butt off.
Guilty.
Hey, at least Flipper is okay. My nephew was actually able to "catch" one of his fish. He literally caught him by his tail. The poor fish was swimming so hard trying to get away that his little body um....hmmmmm...how do I say this...?????...well, there is no easy way...his little body split in two.
I'm not kidding.
eeewwww!!!!! poor lil fish!
(Lucy again) :)
Of COURSE Flipper jumped out all by himself. A four year old boy? Lie? Neverrrrr.
(And if you believe that, I've got a great piece of waterfront property.....)
My comment has nothing to do with this post, although that totally cracks me up!
Thank you so much for our 1st anniversary cake. It was so yummy and it looked just like the original that Jeff ate! We appreciate you putting the time and effort into making our special day even better!
