Hey, it's my 200th post (and my 243rd day of pregnancy)
I've been blogging since July of last year, and just noticed that THIS is my 200th post! Yay me!

Anyway, thank you all sincerely for the sweet and calming comments on yesterday's freak-out post. I really am feeling better today. Freaking hormones.

Had my OB appointment this morning. For someone who usually tends to be a little on the pessimistic side, I went in to the appointment overly OPTIMISTIC. Like, hoping for, "Oh! You are 4 centimeters dilated! You must go lay down and put your feet up for one week!"

What I ACTUALLY heard was (in my doctor's adorable Chinese accent):

"Baby still floating. Cervix soft, though. Dilated, oh, maybe just BARELY fingertip. Don't be sad! It will happen! Less than three weeks to go! Baby not done yet!"

So, mild disappointment, but I also might actually be able to get myself to SLEEP tonight, instead of laying there WAITING TO GO INTO LABOR.

And to make it all better, I went to Starbucks and ordered extra caramel in my Frappucino. And then got a really expensive, two and a half hour spa pedicure. Ahhhhh. And then I had some Sonic mozzarella sticks on the way home. Might as well enjoy this while I can, right?

Here is to a good night's sleep. Maybe you will be all nice and relaxed after your pedicure. That sounds awesome by the way. Where did you go?

Very cool on the pedicure, coffee and mozzerella sticks. There are moments, though few and far between, where pregnancy pays off.

Yeah! 200 posts!! Here is to 200 more.

2 1/2 hour pedicure? What in the world do they do to make a pedicure last that long?

Now I'm craving mozzerella cheese sticks and caramel starbucks.

WOW, a 2 1/2 hour pedicure? Sounds nice. Very nice.

Congrats on 200 posts!

Do you think that 201 could be "had the baby, here's the pics"? Before Friday morning? Because I'm leaving for holidays and I don't want to be the last to know.

No pressure of course.

Look at it this way....my cousin is due 2 weeks after you and gets to spend the next two weeks on bed rest so that the baby can "bake" a little longer. He is in to much of a hurry to get here! LOL! Spa and Starbucks-that sounds like me! LOL!

Stacey,

I am so glad that you waited to have Delaney until I got back from vacation.

OK, now slow down and know that Maegan and I are just down the road and ready to babysit at a moments notice. My only child would love the company and I could get my baby fix!

You are going to make a fabulous mother of three and will be surprised at how easy the transition will be.

Anxious to hear baby news,

Carey

I know the baby is still floating b/c I just saw your comment on Frema's blog which by the way, that comment needs a post of it's own missy because I do believe I saw the word "diamonds" in there. Is there something you need to share with us? Are you being pampered during your last days of pregnancy?
