Those of you who've been around here for awhile may remember my week of Cake Hell back in November and December of last year (during which, incidentally, I was pregnant but didn't yet know it).

Well, here we go again.
Besides Garrett's birthday cakes and a Nemo cake a few days ago...
...I haven't had a paid cake order since July (at which point my baby belly was just too big and unwieldy to be near expensive, elaborately decorated confections).
I knew that I would gradually get back into decorating after Delaney arrived, but in my world, when it rains, it pours.
Here are my orders for this week:
Wednesday - Baby Girl shower cake
Friday - Two tiered Dora and Diego cake, a two tiered Baby Shower cake (for my OB/GYN's office!), and a two tiered Hannah Montana birthday cake
Saturday - Three tiered cake and two sheet cakes for a wedding
Weep with me, friends.
Am I crazy? Abso-f*ing-lutely.
And on top of the eight million preschool drives, the cakes, the arguing and whining preschoolers, and the very needy infant, IT'S PREMIERE WEEK ON TELEVISION. I WILL find a way to park it on the couch every evening at 8:00 pm this week.
Ooh, and the cat just now threw up twice on my kitchen floor.
So stick around this week...there is SURE to be draaaaaama.

Ooh I love the Cars cake and the Nemo one too! Too bad you don't live closer because your cakes are so much better than the grocery store ones with those stupid kits. Your cakes actually come to life if you know what I mean :-) Hope your week isn't too stressful and hey, at least you'll be making some extra spending money.
You will pull through it, of course! I can't wait to see pictures of the finshed products. :)
Good thing you decided to get yourself back into it gradually, right? I mean, no big pressure to start off with.
Riiight.
Premier week! Wahoo!
I am sooooo excited about premier week!!!!
Shut the preschoolers in the basement and hand off that needy baby to tha hubby!
And, at least the cat didn't throw up on the carpet.
Fabulous cakes!! I love it but I am still ticked you couldn't make J's cake. My mom is simply doing cupcakes! ;)
Such cute cakes...I bet they are so yummy. I might have to order one sometime soon! Do you do horse cakes? That's what Christi wants in March.
Here is the ultimate compliment. Maegan just walked in and said "Wow mom I want Stacey to make my cake next year!" Thanks so much Stacey, I think it was the two tiered "cars" work of art that caught her eye. Mom here is strictly one dimensional!

You = Awesome.
Mia would seriously love your cake making abilities. Dora, Diego, Nemo, Cars...man, you hit them all.
You always seem to amaze me. How are you doing it?
I'm going to comment on the other posts here as well b/c I'm short on time and patience with blogger:
Delaney is getting so big so fast and she is so beautiful!
I can't believe Garrett drew a house on the new couch. Does your hand still hurt from beating him? Mine would. But yay for kid friendly fabric.
And I promise if I ever pull up next to a poor woman pumping during the ride, I will look away. Bless your heart.
Oh, I knew there was one other thing. Mia and Dom both scored one of those robot arm things from Grandpa at Cracker Barrel (sp?) a couple of months ago. Don't even get me started on the things my husband has suggested we/he.....well.....that's enough. (rolling eyes)
