Never again!
Why I took on five monster cake orders this week I'll never know. I do know that we spent most of my profits eating out because I was too tired to cook. My thoughts are still not coherent, so here's pictures...


This is the Hannah Montana cake, but it's incomplete because I couldn't travel with it fully finished. It had glittery fondant stars on wires and Hannah Montana pictures on wires that went in the top after delivery.

The complete wedding setup - there's twenty four eggs, two cans of Crisco, and ten pounds of confectioner's sugar sitting on that table. Mmmm.


Closeup of the cake...the bride is American, the groom is from Ghana, so she wanted their flags instead of a cake topper. The flags are made of gumpaste and painted with food coloring. Their monogram is written on the center tier.

My kitchen is STILL a disaster, and it's almost Monday. More later!
