*I have NOT deserted your blogs. I have just not had time to catch up on everyone! I will be back!
*Magic Erasers truly are magic...they removed non-washable marker from a dresser - hallelujah! Now I just need one for my nasty carpet.
*I think I may have felt baby move today! Ultrasound is in two weeks.
*I am a NEW WOMAN. Oprah was not kidding when she said a properly fitted bra can change your life. My lovelies are now positioned front and center, where they have not been since I was seventeen, and there are even cushion-y strap covers to protect my permanent shoulder grooves. Me and my 'new' boobies? We have power.
(And I will also tell you that I GUARAN-DAMN-TEE you wear a much bigger size than you think you do...I was surprised to learn my actual size. I'll only tell you that it's bigger than a D and smaller than a Z, and my husband's eyes are still lit up).
*For all interested parties: I have been through a million ill-fitting, non-supportive, and underwire-poking-out bras from Victoria's Secret, Wal-Mart, and Target. So since I now have the excuse of pregnancy, I went to our local hospital's Women's Center to have them measure me and fit me properly for a good, sturdy bra. Gah, it's fun to be 30.
The bra I got is a totally unglamorous Medela nursing bra, with four rows of hooks in the back, comfy padded shoulder straps, and those fun little drop down cups for nursing (which I don't need yet, but could be fun in the meantime, if you catch my drift...).
It has a 'lace' overlay and a little bow in the center, which are quite sad stabs at making it mildly attractive. It was $37 dollars and worth every penny. So if you're willing to wear a NURSING BRA, for heaven's sake, go get one. Who knows? It could be useful to you at Mardi Gras next year.
*It is cake season! I am taking orders about every other day. Cake Money = Good. However, my carpal tunnel hand (the one I had surgery on in January) is rebelling a bit about having to work so darn hard.
*I am substitute teaching about two days a week and I LOVE it. I may make this my permanent career! But it is limiting my playing-on-the-computer-time, because the other three days that I am home must be completely devoted to my daily slavery chores, like watching soap operas playing with my kids, and making sure we all have clean forks, and underwear.
More later!

I must know what this awesome bra is. My girls haven't been where they're supposed to be for a very long time!
Busy girl...send me cake!! Please??!!
I WISH I lived close to you so you could do Silly Boy's 1st birthday cake. Oh well, I guess I'll have to get my mom to do another one.
As for the bra. Nope, I swear I could probably go a size down but I refuse to. No way, no how. I'm a member of the itty bitty titty committee.
I'm always so happy to find a new entry from you!!
That is too cool with feeling the baby. And cakes, and subbing? You're on a roll, mama! Take pictures of the cakes! We want to see!
I want to know more about the bra fitting...I can never, NEVER find a good fitting one and oh how I would love to!
Pictures! of the cakes please....
Mardi Gras! Too funny!! Pictures of cakes? How about a picture of the bra???
You have more guts than I do. JC Penney was having a professional bra fitter come in and I was very tempted to take the plunge. You have inspired me and I think I see a girls day out coming in my future complete with bra fitting!
I heart the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! I make sure I keep plenty under the kitchen sink.
I really need to get much better bras. I know I need a bigger size, even my husband has pointed that out, but I'm just not sure where to go. Maybe I'll do some googling.
What do you think about what's goin on on Y & R!?
I totally had a bra fitting at JCP once. When the lady told me my size, it took my breath away for a moment. One of my girls is bigger than the other, so I'm sure her measurement did not take that into consideration. I have to compromise and not overcompensate for the "big girl" when purchasing my bras. EEK!
If I had a proper bra fitting they would send me back to the training bra section! I am waiting for cake and for you to create that toy vacuum for my playroom.
i was thinking about getting the magic eraser thing and now i think i will, since i know it really works! :)
